We're Children of the Dead

We are  the next generation, we walk with earphones in our ears, facebook in front of our face and ping buzzing away. This is the next generation, this is our generation. The generation that keeps their phone next to their dinner plate and rudely responds to every ping, text and facebook update that pops up while having dinner with the family. When we are having a conversation with friends while watching tv together everybody is conversing with their friends through facebook, twitter or pingchat and the conversation on actual face to face level is limited.

We are no humans, we are faceless, dead creatures, leaving footprints all over  the internet but whithering away behind our screens, our phones, our so-called social networks that diminishes our social life to what gets through through our internet connection. We are the children of the next generation, we are the children of the dead.
