Ickymoo

So much to catch up on and so little space to write. Ok, I got all the space in the world but you probably don’t want to read everything that I have done. Since two weeks or so I put my Facebook back up, I got no schoolwork to catch up on and there is nothing that needs to be done. Then again, I have just gone away for a few days, well a week, but still.

My vague adventure hints were all about the awesome ickmoo, the ICMU. The biggest gathering of friends, there were about 21, from all over the fucking European continent and the Island of silliness. Got there by train, a five-hour train ride from the far corners of the universe to Leuven in Belgium. My surprised had already been ruined when the hostel aka hostile guy read out the names that could be in the ickmoo group. Nonetheless there were surprised in a sort of way and happy to see me. Ended up in a room with five other muffins, which I dearly love, what else would I?

So there has been a lot of drinking and a lot of talking and hugging and kissing. No snogging, that I is probably kept for the after party next week when we all get drunk again and somehow end up having an orgy. Of course the meet up always has surprised, like another muffin turning up to see his girlfriend at the ICMU and who one of those people I love to see because, well, some people are just amazing the way they are. During the annual picnic it of course has to go wrong or weird or otherwise turns thing sour. First a homeless guy turns up and creeps around, drinking our coke and eating our cake and then another homeless guy start seizuring. Apparently it was Homeless Sunday. To top it all another homeless guy started feeling a friend up saying he was a healer. It just had to happen, no meet up is without people puking, creeps turning up and others crying.

There has been a lot of laughter, booze and some serious conversations and getting closer to friends. Someday I will write a less general story about it. Let me say that not everything felt like home and that don’t think I will come back to this if it doesn’t get dramatically smaller. Perhaps I have grown up and finally I see the ugliness of thing through everything. My rant will be for later. For now just drown in the love of friends, the groping, the kisses, the hugs, the endless hugs.
