A simple blog about friends, friend whom I've lost or who went their own direction. This is not about my chat loves, you will always be in my heart. Even though you might think that I don't talk to you, it doesn't mean that I don't care about you. I am just silly like that. Here is about the friends that somehow went away.
Robbert
We literally grew up together from birth and spend much of our childhood playing outside doing silly things. We had a connection as strong as that of a brother and sister and despite our fights we would forgive each other. I had many friends back then but he was the one I came back to for everything, not yet old enough to have real secrets and problems, but he was there and I was never alone. Until I moved when I was almost 8 and by that left the life I knew and him. Years later I found him again and I know that he is a friend that will last because we are brother and sister, we grew up together, screw biological bonds, I shared my crib with him!

She was the only person that didn't reject me at my new school after moving. She made me feel at least a little accepted in the class. All friendships end and I tried so hard to not lose her but I was the only one trying. In the end she was never really my friends, she was not strong enough to battle against the world to help me out. She would often leave me alone and take the other side just to be part of the popular group. I knew I was never going to be their friends so I didn't even try while she would tell my secrets to those who hated me, who teased and perhaps bullied me because that way they would like her enough to have her hang out with them. In the end, I was alone those four years of primary school.

You didn't mind me being different, odd, weird. You were one of us and you probably really liked hanging around with me, making homework, sitting next to me in class. The high school was out playground and we skipped classes just so we could do silly things together. You changed my musical taste into "whatever-the-radio-feeds-me" to "check-out-good-and-heavy-bands" kind of thing. You made me listen to System of a Down and made me realise that pop was not my kind of music. Yet, in the second year you knew how to destroy everything. Not only did you lie and trick, you put the blame on somebody else while you were the one secretly calling me names and stabbing me in the back. Thanks for leaving me alone there, it thickened my skin and now that I trust no one I just leave my friends on my own so I don't have to go trough any of that again.

You really know how to ruin somebody's social life. I first thought you and I were alike, now I know that I am not like you at all. All those time you invited me over you just wanted an excuse to not be home alone. If you had just said that you felt so alone at home with nobody around I wouldn't have mind, but you used me and laughed at me like I was your social pet. When I finally had the guts to tell you that I didn't want to be used by you, you lied and deceived and turned half the school against me, because you couldn't have not being right and being left. Perhaps you have changed now, but as long as you keep calling me and my sister names when you pass by I will not forgive you for what you have done.

You had only been in my life for a year, hell, perhaps even shorter. You stood up for me and told me that what I was didn't matter because I was a nice person and nobody could treat me like shit like they were doing. I know you had problems at home, I hate you for not showing up at school and leaving me on my own with nobody to talk to, but you had your reasons. You were a genuine person, with a real heart and no pretension. We both lived in different worlds, on other sides of the spectrum of social status and whatever it was but you got me and liked me for who I was and I respected you and trusted you. You helped me survive by helping me stand when I could no longer.

you were good friends, the first real friends I had in high school. No strings attached and no one manipulating you into not liking me. You helped me and actually cared and looked out for me, even though I left you because you graduated a year earlier than me. I never left on purpose, even though we don't talk anymore it is my own fault because I am too chicken to start a conversation and feel like I am bothering you with my petty life.

I thought you were a real friend and that we really had something in common, yet you through me away half-way our last year for no reason. Perhaps you had your reasons but I would have liked to know. I don't know what I did wrong or even if I did something wrong, but you were clearly mad at me for some reason and nobody knew why.

We had a real fun time, even though you are the anime chick you are, listening to J-rock at least you didn't give a fuck and we could happily sing Toybox out of tune in the hallways of school because we could.

I had to thank you for being my friend in that fast and busy year of college, I never thought that I would have people care about me. We had so much fun in London, though we only had one thing in common, English. Now we have gone out separate ways. You have been fun as long as it lasted. I am not somebody who keeps in contact because it usually hurts more to know how others are living their dreams and I am tailing behind. I wish them all the best at whatever they are doing or want to do, may they find happiness.
