I see the darkness falling,
one by one the victims fall,
the smiles, the happiness goes first,
they are useless after all.
The words no longer linger,
I speak but make no sound,
the letters fall down on the ground
the emptiness, profound.
I hope for better weather,
when I look up at the sky,
the crows are circling overhead,
waiting for me to die.
I hurry past the tombstones,
on every grave a victim's name
girl, woman, friend and daughter,
in the end they're all the same.
The darkness is catching up,
my blindness become whole,
as I stumble down towards the ground
life-sentence without parole.
Through the bars of sadness,
I see the sky becoming clear,
but I cannot bash in the sun,
I am no longer here.
