Sometimes the world does not seem to revolve fast enough, time ticks by too slowly. Clouds gather underneath a sunny sky. Try to breathe while your head is half under water, the waves of the sea dragging you away from the coast where you so fondly stuck your toes into the sand. Does the shine of all the social meetings wear off once you realise that you are alone again? Has two full weeks of being with the most amazing people lightened up my world so much that the greyness of everything else is a gloomy black? How long will forever be when a lifetime feels already more than I can handle. Tonight all I want is the blackness to turn into a star and my mind to stop turning the pages of a teenage sobbing novel that leaves everybody crying. Will a flower still bloom when the world around it is black, when the sun doesn't shine upon its leaves. Sometimes the trick is to not care for a while and just forget that tomorrow a next day will begin, today is what there is. Tomorrow is just a side effect of sleep.
