Adolf Wilders

I have been following the Dutch Tweede Kamer elections for the last few days, in which it came more and more apparent that none of the parties shared my ideas and that even the politician that was talking the worst bullshit would get lots of votes.

Apparently, there are people who believe that the Koran should be forbidden because it is the book of all even, it is the most fascist book in the world that calls for nothing less than blood shedding of those who don't believe in the Islam or openly criticise it. Wilders says that we should protect our Dutch culture by removing the threat of the Islamic culture that has been seeping through the cracks of our national flag and been clouding out sight of real Dutch culture.

I have been living here all my life, I have even been living in a posh village somewhere along the coast where most people drive expensive cars and think they are better than everyone else. Yet, I am not unfamiliar with immigrants and bad neighbourhoods, low schooled classes and everything else you can find in the cramped 10m by 10m flats. Also, being interested in history and the history of the Netherlands and how my family came to this place I learned that the Dutch are tolerant people who open their doors for those looking for shelter and a place to live when their own homes and countries became not safe anymore for whatever reason. The roots of my mother's family lies in France, where they moved further North and North to escape the catholic church. In history we were the tolerant country where everything was possible and it didn't matter who you are or what you could. In so many instances people have moved to the Netherlands, but apparently it is no longer Dutch to be tolerant and respectful. We now probably have to protect the airheaded music from Volendam, eating pancakes, stroopwafels and celebrating Queen's day and dressing up in orange things whenever the Dutch play in any big championship. Honestly, all I do of that list is eat pancakes and stroopwafels. Of course there is much more Dutch to be found here, but they are not so impressive.

I have been friends with some people who believed Allah was the god they had to pray to, who would wear a head scarf when she would get married, but never ever did she approve of the terrorist, extremist and fascists claiming to fight in the name of Allah, better yet, she was ashamed of them using his name for such things. We got along great and we respected each other, because I didn't mind that she didn't agree with me on certain things and she didn't mind that I couldn't agree with some of her views, we respected each other and calmly talked about it to understand each other better. Wilders on the other hand puts the blame on one religion and one religion alone, claiming that they are the rot of the earth, the worst of the worst, the death of us all and the downfall of our country.

Actually, Wilders, party-leader of the Party of Freedom, reminds me of the NSDAP and Hitler. PVV promises a lot of good things aside from eliminate 1/16th of the country's population. In the 40's they just locked them up in camps and gassed them in gasschambers instead of sending them back to the country they originally came from, yes, shipping them back would have cost too much and taken too long. Now we can just rent a plane and send them all back to their doom within a few hours. the only difference is that Wilders and his party of animals are not subtle about their dislike of a whole religious group and how is it that a party that claims to want freedom for everyone takes away freedom from a whole group by trying to ban their holy book and their traditions. Wilders might now wear a bulletproof jacket to meetings and debates, afraid of Islamic extremist, but why so afraid of them? Extremist Jews, Christians, animal right activists are just as bad, but you won't here anything about them having a whole party trying to get them out of the country. What I also noticed in all debates is that they might mention the Jews and animal right activists, nobody dares to mention fascists Christians, or any person who claims he committed crimes in the name of God. They shouldn't ban any religion or any way of thinking, just the people who can't abide the laws that say not to harm anybody.

Wilders should be locked up in prison, he wants to hurt and is planning to hurt people by sending them back to their own country while in their own country they might get killed for various reason, as happened before, being gay. Because that has happend before, where two gay man got send back to where they came from after seeking asylum and failing, being hanged in their own country for being gay. Now, it will all feel so much better than Hitler when you don't order to kill people, you just let them get killed by whoever they are not safe from or whatever is going to hurt them, starvation, floods, poor living circumstances, because that excludes you as the killer.
