Who Killed Amanda Palmer?

Who Killed Amanda Palmer

He finally found the one office with a premature Christmas tree. It was not yet Christmas, St. Nicholas day was around the corner and J.P. had gone early to his office to enjoy the few quiet moments before the hectic time would come in the parliament and his home. He sat down in front of the window, it was cold but not yet cold enough for snow. Truth be told, with the climate change going on, snow would be out of the question in the Netherlands, too warm and The Hague was too salty to make the snow stay.

There on the other side of the pond, with its seagulls and the few ducks was a woman walking. There seemed to be nothing odd about this woman, just someone who had decided to take an early stroll along the Hofvijver. J.P. suddenly noticed her barefoot, the lack of coat and the tiny bag in her hand. The mysterious woman was about to feed the doves. Everyone knew that is was forbidden to feed the doves! The Prime Minister walked away from the window in anger. He was sick of people disobeying the laws and the rules of his country. It brought nothing but harm and he would end it all.

Right when he walked out of the door he saw an old riffle hanging on the wall as decoration. He took if off the hook and walked back to the room he came from. The bright lit Christmas tree suddenly looked dull as if the once so bright and pure thoughts of Christmas had gone. He aimed the rifle at the woman from the open window.

There she lay, arm stretched, she would no longer feed the doves at the Hofvijver. No one would suspect the PM, they would all think it was some thug killed the lady for her money or because they didn’t like her face. J.P. could go home and celebrate St. Nicholas with his children and think about how the lady would never break the rules again. For the rest of the day he walked around with a smile on his face and a new found love for his country and politics. Everything could be solved with the right means.
