Dying Star

Why did you come to me
As moths drawn to a flame
As men drawn to disaster
Slowly burning up inside
To die to know the other
The one that sheds the light
For it hurts to much to shine
But they don’t know
That the flame is dying
And the disenchantment is soon
Then will swarm around blackened tinsels
Broken dreams and broken girls
They tried to catch the flame
The beauty of a dying star
Most glorious near death
And you can’t save her
