In Which More Snow & Pancakes Make the World Go Around

Today I decided to take a walk on the white side. I had already done so last night, because I couldn't sleep and I saw the snow falling outside my window and I couldn't resist the urge to go outside and start singing and dancing along to the Beatles. I now understand why Emilie Autumn thinks that the Beatles are great to sing in kitchens, snowy night will do too. In the end I only slept 4 hours because I was so angsty that I was only thinking about how things would go wrong and I still do because hell, the world is a place that should be regarded with fear, because everything, but I mean EVERYTHING can go wrong.

Today it was snowing again and with the sun shining through the clouds, or just general sun shining somewhere I could take some pictures of the pretty snow. The snow is a mix of hail and snow, and was never this deep around here. Being in a coastal area make the snow usually melt before it hits the ground, so this is something special. I put on some clothes, lots of pretty clothes to keep me warm and I took off in the whiteness, making some fucking big contrast between the black coated me and the white snow. I walked in my platform ankle boots to the park right outside my village, wearing my platform might not have been the best idea because the snow just got stuck under it and in the end I walked on an extra inch of snow under my boots. I found some nice spots to take pictures of which one is pretty good, but I forgot to take the camera upstairs so pics will come later. When I arrived at the pond in the middle of the park a jong man was undressing himself except his pants and he jumped in the freezing water. I didn;t understand it until I saw him dragging out a soaked dog. I was so filled with loved when I realied that a complete stranger was willing to sarcrifice his comfort and perhaps his health to safe a dog who feel through the thin layer of ice in the pond. He should be made a hero because he was just a passing by and helped out a couple by jumping in freezing water. I went home and saw that man re-dressed but hair still wet jogging in the park again, I call that balls.

After picking up my mother and sister who had gone to get my sister's picture taken with Acda & de Munnik in Amsterdam we went to the City to take some more pictures. It was funny to drive in a car that would slip a little every now and then because of the snow. I have never driven in a car while it was this snowy., new experiences are fun. After taking some pictures near the Mill where Rembrandt van Rhijn lived as young boy we went to eat pancakes. I came to a world changing revelation. Pancakes make the world go around, my arguments?

1. Eve wanted to make pancakes
As we knew Eve ate from the forbidden tree in the garden of Eden in the book Genesis. Most people agree on the fruit being an apple. Now, it should be well known that the reason why she wanted to taste the apple was because she was trying to make pancakes. There are of course lots of different fruits in the garden of Eden but the forbidden tree is always a temptation. She talked to the snake who told her that those apples would be delicious on her pancakes, she then took a bite and realised that it was apples her pancakes needed.

2. The world used to be as flat as a pancake
Before scientist got all smart and discovered that the world is indeed round, it was a common perception that the world was flat. Now as we all know, the world, as seen by the churge and other scientist linked to the church the world would have indeed the shape of a pancakes. This makes me conclude that the world infact was a pancake.

3. Newton was making pancakes
It's the most well known story on how Newton got his idea of steam powered engines. He was looking at something boiling and saw it pushing the lid of a pan up. He then got to work and created the idea of using steam to create energy. While it is now know what he was cooking, I am certain that he was boiling a pan with water so he could heat the already baked pancakes. So pancakes helped him discover something that made a huge change in the world.

4. Einstein loves pancakes too
It is said that Einstein's law of gravity came to him by a falling apples. I am quite certain that Einstein was just looking for apples for his apple pancake. Even the discovery of the law of gravity came to be with the help of pancakes.

I can only conclude that Pancakes make indeed the world go around.
